Definately better! I'd probably still add a piece here and there but I always enjoyed the jungle gym. Gotta ask, what's the story on tube skyrise in the background?

Agree with Curt, looks great. To beat the long dead triangulation horse, maybe set of spreaders on a 45 over the seats and call it good!

And Curt if i'm not mistaken the answer to your question can be found on THOR in the thread 'rear engine mega truck'

45 degree piece(s) from the junction of a-pillar and upper windshield bar, to the b pillar. it would have to intersect the tube running laterally between the left and right side but it would still assist in beefing things up should you pirouette the rig onto those corners.

BTW, I'm not being judgy, my cage needs the same addition

They make a candle that smells like a two stroke. Nothing like a romantic evening with the smell of two stroke.

    ]Update on the buggy:

-New cage, needs TUNING and CURVES.
-New brake lines from front to back. I used 74 Chevy 3/4 ton calipers and flex lines for the rears. Fronts are 87 Ford dual piston.
-Dodge 2500 master cylinder mated to YJ booster.
-Some of the wires cleaned up.
-80s Mustang GT scoop for GO FAST TRICK Mod. Netted me at least 50Hp.

    It's been a while.........Update time.

I had to change all the front and rear wheel bearings, wheel bearing race, oil seals. Google was my friend and some of JK members helped as well Thanks CTD nut and Curtis just to name a couple. First time was challenge and wasn't really that bad. I bought a wheel/ seal driver, it made the job easy.

I also cleaned up some wires in the engine compartment and in the cab, installed a battery master switch the day before TMRs open house, I pulled an all nighter and made it to TMR in the afternoon.

I love the power of the 6L. Riding on 42s, TONs was freakin awesome.

However I had fuel delivery issues. No fuel ingestion in steep climb due to my fuel pick up in front of the cell. Buggy stuck and no start. I used brake clean to help prime system. Next day I had the same issue, I came back 2hrs later and she fired back up again......confused.

Wheelers telling me I'm boiling my fuel due to hot headers proximity to fuel line....also 1 guy said bad fuel pump.

Then I did THIS on the last day while doing the time race......DNF...I ripped my lower control arm off the frame. The frame was already weak and the control arm bracket was backyard brands.
