More of a "feeler" really, how much is a good shape one normally sell for?

I have a frame from a 2000 wrangler. It has rust scale but it is solid. Rock rails have been welded on.
2 or 3 of the body mounts need a little repair. I am open to offers as I wont have time for this project this summer...

What years of frames should I be looking for? 97-? I think the 4 cyl mounts are in a different location? Are the autos different than manuals?

Yes, the engine mounts are different between the 4 and 6 cylinder frames. However, you can buy the frame mounts for both engines directly from Mopar. These mounts are welded on so if you have to change them, the old mounts will have to be cut off and the new ones welded in. It's not a deal breaker or a lot of work unless you do not have the means to cut and weld steel.

The transmission mount is not mounted to the frame and therefore has nothing to do with frame so that will not matter. The belly skid / cross member is what mounts the transmission and should bolt to all TJ frames to the best of my knowledge.

The only thing that would be noticeably different is the steering box mount on the frame. The 03-06 steering box is different than the earlier TJ's and so is the way it mounts. It is certainly possible to modify the frame for a different box but it would be best to avoid that if possible. Or, you could swap in the later box...though, it is less desirable.

You had a few offers in this thread. What part of the world do you live in that makes the GTA or Niagara too far away to get a good frame?

That's 4 hours away for me. Looking for something closer to home. I don't travel well, let's leave it at that.
