    need a yj carburetor 2 bbl

    hey if anyone has a curburetor for sale that works as it should please text/call at 416 568 7629. it can be with the intake too or a bigger carb on a performance intake. thanks

    A rebuild kit is Cheap and really simple to do, in a couple hours you can have a rebuilt carb or buy a re-manned from your local discount auto parts store and use yours for the core...

    Do yourself a favour. Go buy a new Holley or Weber carb (I personally had a Holley and loved it!) and source an HEI Distributor. You and your 4.2 will be WAY happier.

    okay. i was also thinking to just get a 4.0L head, intake exhaust manifold and get fuel injection going, i wonder if anyone has those parts around or 4.0L motors

    You would be better off just swapping in the entire 4.0L engine over doing just the head...

    I did the 4.0L swap in my 85 CJ7 and was well worth the upgrade...

    I have a 4L head, intake and exhaust manifolds. Also all the stuff to install on the 4.2 (head gasket, manifold gaskets, all the parts to freshen up the valves) PM me if you're interested. Got a 4.3 L chevy FI set up too but no adapter plate for the 4.2 intake.
