    Exhaust Question

I'm looking for a muffler clamp that would go in-between the pipe coming off the manifold, and the open going to the catalytic converter. Does something exist?

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking in regards to the clamp.

Let's start with what kind of jeep you are working on.

Sorry I keep forgetting this site doesn't show the vehicle type by the usernane. I'm fixing up a 1998 Jeep TJ, first Jeep. I went to place that was selling all kinds of parts thinking that the pipe had the flange built-in and it was rusted off, however the pipes I saw at the otherplace looked the same so it must be a clamp that goes in-between the two pipes.

It is a flange the bolts the drop down pipe to the exhaust manifold, sounds like you're missing the lower flange.
