    GlennH Jeep JK Build

Since I'm new and moving from Winnipeg to Mississauga, figured I would transfer my build up thread.

I really want to get out and go wheeling in some rocks. Hopefully I find the right crew and we can be friends and hang out.

this will be a winter project. I'm collecting parts now.

Alloy USA Ball Joints and EBC Green Stuff Front Brake Pads Installed tonight. Just in time for Sept Long Weekend. CHAAAAAA!!

I borrowed a friends Garage, Compressor and BJ Press.

I got the new 4th Gen LoD Offroad tire carrier adapter for my bumper and tire carrier. I had the first gen and it was a round tube and it wiggled and wobbled like crazy and I didn't like it. Plus this new one extends further out for different rims and tire sizing. Oh and I stripped a stud on the first gen so now I got all new studs as well. Should be good.

Little late posting this but found it on my phone from the FALL.

I was tired of the Synergy steering colors, and so the black and white theme continues... I painted up the Synergy Track-bar & bracket, Synergy Tie-rod, Synergy Drag-link, Bilstein Steering Stabilizer, Synergy Sway-bar quick disconnects, Old Man Emu Shocks, Dynatrac ProRock 44 Housing and Differential cover. I then decided, might as well clean up the rusty stuff, so I painted the coils, lower control arms, Rugged Ridge control arm skids and the backside of the housing as well.

I then said I might as well do the rear end too. So the Dana 44 got a complete coat along with my Riddler Differential cover. The rear lower shock skids aka Evo Rockstars have taken a beating so they got a good cleaning and coating, I wish I had a photo of this. I then finished painting those damn bright yellow Old Man Emu Shocks out back. Sorry no booty pics.... hahaha biggrin]

Been a little slow at the upgrades, busy enjoying summer!!!

    Anyways.... here's whats new.

My last set of Teraflex Rebuild Kits for my front lower control arms didn't work out so well. After one 4x4 run the freaking snap rings all broke. Teraflex stepped up and sent out all new kits for free. So I got these bad boys all prepped and ready to go in.

Since I got the new front bumper this year and I opt'd out for the front fog lights, my lighting department was lacking. I scored a good deal on the RRJC Forum and got these KC HiLites LED's.

Here are the LED Headlights Installed. You'll notice that the eyebrow trim rings are now gone as they don't fit with the new headlights. The LED Headlights stick out a lot more the OEM.

And lastly... yeah I had tooo. hahahahaha MALL RATED!

Well.... since my bud Lloyd brought up the topic in his build thread of maintenance and control arms and such I guess it was time for me to follow suit and do the maintenance thing. Well lucky for me it was perfect timing since my Synergy trackbar kinda gave up on life quite recently and the "death wobble" had begun. Needed to tackle this job quickly before my newish balljoints and tres took a beating.

    So I Installed:
    - New trackbar heim & bushing from Synergy
    - New front lower control arm rod ends & bushings from Teraflex
    - New steering stabilizer from Bilstein
    - New wheel center cap from MB Wheels, I broke one lol.
    - Ordered new swaybar bushings from Synergy as spares
    - Ordered new tie rod ends from Synergy as spares

Back on the maintenance train again....

Front and Rear differentials serviced and looking minty!
Clock spring replaced, I now have an airbag. lol
    Front Brake Pads & Rotors
Rear axle seal and bearing replaced.
Transfer case shifter cable replaced, dont ask how... but ya its broke.
Installed new Teraflex rear upper control arm bushings
