So as Photobucket exploded all my links and I went on an anti Photobucket blow out campaign I had to kill my entire build thread. This will be all I will post in this one as of July 2017 - this is how she looks.

So... Here we go again however I'm not going to load a million pictures back in. The Project is at Aqualu the fenders and box and now made, I ordered 1 3/4 DOM to build the cage todd and I just need to find a weekend that works to bend all the tubing. The roll cage will also be my air tank.

So I will try and think of all the parts I used:
    2012 4 door JK Frame
JK fuel tank, JK window frame
Aqaulu JK truck body - extended cab using a GR8Tops 1/2 cab hard top and JK freedom top panels
Gen III LS 6.0L with performance goodies, Holley computer
4L80e - overdrive auto - rebuild convertor otherwise stock
    Atlas 4.3:1 two speed T-case
Ford King pin Dana 60 up front ZIP air locker 10.1 Dana gears, cromo axles, Randys super joints, Reid Racing knuckles, Currie JK axle bracket kit, trussed.
Rear axle AAM 14 bolt with factory disk brakes, Grizzly locker 5.38 Yukon gears Yukon Cromo axles Currie JK axle bracket kit TMR 14 bolt shave kit.
Teraflex JK low COG long arm 4 inch coils, Fox thiple bypass shocks and Fox bumps.
Tons of customizing to the frame, fuel tank raised three inches, rear box 10 inches narrowed than a JK tub, axle moved ahead 2 inches, steering moved ahead 2 inches etc etc etc...
    PSC full hydro assit steering
    Flex-a-lite cooling.
    Allied Beadlocks
    BFG Krawlers.
Currie steering ends with custom links.
    Baja Design lighting
    Mastercraft seats.
Warn bumpers front and rear very modified
    Warn 8274-50 winch
Omix Ada steel CJ hood and grill and tailgate. all modified
    Dakota digital dash
    Ididit steering column
will have AR 400 steel skid plates
    Full in cab cage.
    Steering brakes
Oh I'm forgetting lots I'm sure....

Gonna get onto the wrecker i've been waiting for for the 2010 5.3. Been waiting a couple weeks for then to fire up the truck and make sure it runs well. if not I've got a line via another wrecker on a Gen III engine for 800 complete just a bit higher miles. Trying to sort out suspension next. Leaning towards a Teraflex LCG long arm kit that I'll add bypass shocks too and maybe coil overs if I can fit it in the budget.

If I'm not mistaken, Just Jeeps has that kit on their shop JK and it works really well.

With doing the V8 engine and big GM trans, I like the Tera kit as it doesn't use the stock cross member as an attachment point for the control arms, i'm expecting I'll be positioning the cross member for the trans in a slightly different place than the stock position, and the Tera kit just has brackets that cup each frame rail for the control arms and the front arms are slightly kinked up for better clearance.

Yup very happy with our Teraflex LCG kit with Fox RR Shocks. We put it in a Hemi 2dr and the customer is extremely happy with it as well.

Good to know thanks! Just ordered the seats today - Mastercaft Baja RS in black/blue and harnesses added the seat heaters as well. I've been wheeling in Mastercraft seats for 8 years now and would have nothing else. I would have kept the old ones except that had my old 4WD magazine logo's stitched into them and its time to move on from those 12 years of my life Oh and I wanted heated seats this time!

A local wrecker called Coldstream, they had 6-7 6.0L and prob 10+ 5.3's all palleted and tested ready to go all around that 1000 mark a little more if you needed everything like I did. it has all accessories on the front including the compressor I'll convert to on board air, motor mounts all sensors starter exhaust flex plate etc... the 4L80E is also tested and had clean fluid when they pulled it which at least makes it usable to start. Ill send the torque convertor in to be cut open and checked and beefed up a bit - that will also give me a better tell on the condition of the trans.
