Yup, but going to add a 1 inch "body" lift for the cab portion the box won't matter. I am moving the forward most cross member back to another low spot on the top of the tank that you can see in the picture eliminating one cross member and just using two rather than three - worst case we will need to raise the floor slightly behind the passenger side seat to accommodate the higher tank position. As this is a two seater cab on a 4 door chassis not a 4 seater it won't bother the front seating position if I have to go this route.

Ordered the suspension today -Teraflex long arm LCG Elite 4 inch dual track bars but no shocks or bumps, sway bars via Currie Anti rocks. This thread will get more interesting once I have the parts in the garage and not at my USA border drop location...

I just had to bend those steering pump lines to clear my frame but they're scary close. I'm gonna put an off the shelf no resevoir pump and the biggest junkyard remote resevoir i can find or just make one out of steel that i can squeeze in somewhere.

    Lovin the progress!

I paid 1800.00 for the engine and trans dressed (all assesories starter etc), the 6.2L are still pretty pricey. Also I've heard issues with the MDS engines having too swap the timing chains etc and the 6.0L is a bit tougher of a platform - same reason I stayed with a steel block rather than aluminum - durability was a big thing for me. I'm leaning towards a supercharger at some point, and the supercharger will fit a 4.8, 5.3 or a 6.0L so if I ever blow the motor up - I can stick any of those back in for under a grand. Same reason I went with the Holley injection set up - they make a main harness then you add on which ever end harness you need for the injectors supplied with the engine as GM used several different injector brands over the years. Rather than flash a computer for every change the Holley Dominator computer is self programming and laptop programable and also controls shift points in the trans. I had a similar set up on my 5.0L Ford in my TJ with the Holley Terminator injection.

If those cooler lines are an issue i'll just add a block off plate - I'm not surprised you had fitment issues with the way the JK steering box sits on the frame. I'm good either way.

I see teraflex still uses those dang clevite bushings in their arms. Also that goofy rear trackbar bracket.

    Nice build up.

Got some floor drawing from Aqualu today for the cab so I could double check the body mount locations for them.

Cab will be 66 inches long with the extended cab hard top so some decent room behind the seats inside leaving me around a 55 inch long box - almost 5 feet so should look pretty good and not leave the box to "stubby" and out of proportion with the cab. Body is 68 inches wide at the back of the cab. I'll be tapering the box to almost the width of the back of the frame - so 48 inches at the tail gate. making for a 10 inch taper over the length of the box sides on each side.

So it won't be overly "boat tailed" and again should not look to awkward once the flares are on and the outer edge of the flare sure to the tires on the outside edge and tapering to match the body taper of course... Think having your 4 door JK narrower than a TJ at the tail lights - nice for turning with this 116 inch wheelbase in the trees.
