Lazy and useless old jeeper tard goes to a quicklube joint

Got my oil changed, today, on my JK cause i'm too lazy to do it when its cold and I had a coupon.
What is funny is I have a two year old Sears Die hard platinum battery that registered 1055 CCA! when they tested it.
They were amazed. I wish I had a custom bigger modded battery tray to have a bigger battery.
But I have the hummer style snorkel which requires rotation of the battery tray.
I hear the biggest diehards can pull 1500 CCA.
A winchers dream. I know dual batteries are king. But, A single good battery beats two shitty batteries, except for the functionality of a battery isoalter.
Sure love them Diehards. There is a Canadian brand for them too. I don't know what it is.

Those optima batteries just dont perform like they used to since they started offshoring them.

Odyssey is the manufacturer of the diehard platinum. Same battery just less money from sears. I picked up a diehard a few years ago in the states. Works great.

And it looks like Sears US has discontinued the Odyssey/Die hard platinum. That's the buzz, anyway....and the new platinums look like a different type on their site.

Everyone says this and that about Optima but I've had several different Optimas (Red/Blue/Yellow) in several different Jeeps and never once have I ever had an issue. Plenty of winching done on it too.

^ Meh...I have seen enough ridiculous failures first-hand with Optima batteries that there is no way I would ever trust one. There are better, less failure-prone options for similar dollars these days to not have to subject yourself to them.
