    ya know I am not so sold on synthetic. Yes I know it doesn't hold any energy and falls to the ground when breaks, but damn it sure brakes alot if you use it the wrong way. If it gets scuffed or scraped, its screwed. I will put it on my buggy for the simple fact it is much lighter then cable, but I would rather use cable for recreational offroading. Cable is just so much more forgivable and lasts much longer. You do need to be aware of kinks and broken strands.

    Always re tighten the crosbys after they are under load, as the cable stretches the diameter decreases which can cause the cable to pull through. Better yet why not just use fist grips, they're idiot proof.
