So I just picked up a 87 Jeep looking to have lots of fun over the summer. Anyone else from the Belleville area out on the trails?

I am planning to head into Lingham and to the Quarry in Deseronto over the summer, would like to know if anyone one else is out riding in the area or if they can recommend any other spots to get out with the Jeep.

    Welcome to Jk.

Lingham lake has some awesome wheeling. Some of the best bass fishing in the country there.

That depends, if you like having an organisation that lobbies with the government and try to keep the greenies off our backs so we have public land to use our jeeps on then I'd say yes. They don't get any money other then memberships, donations, a few sponsors, and a few bucks that are left from camp NL. On the what's in it for me right now front you also get access to the excellent and constantly growing trail index, complete with frequent trail condition updates (ie when one of the members goes out and reports on the state of things, the index will reflect any major issues or changes shortly after)

There are several other benefits as well like added off road liability insurance coverage (always nice peace of mind).
The ability to sign up for camp NL.
Lots of opertunity to volunteer your time to help with trail projects (clean ups and maintenance/repare) as much as that part doesn't sound like fun it actually can be and is a great way to meet fellow wheelers)

2006 LJ Rubicon Lots of stuff from TMR installed by CT Motorsports (see profile if you want to know) project once more with feeling

What he said. You can also look at the member clubs page, and see if you can join one. You would get your OF4WD membership as part of that club membership. Or at least that's how it works for the clubs I know (OVO and EOTB), I imagine the others are similar.
