    Electric supercharger

My cousin bought a crappy electric supercharger the other day, and I must say it looks like a piece of crap. There is no way these things can work, right?
I don't know, but I have found the idiots that sell these things www.electricchargers.com

I think you would have problems with pure O2 due to it's volatility(no smoking please). You'd have all sorts of issues with premature ignition. That's why most use N2O systems, you get more oxygen than you get in regular air, it's stable, it's cooling, but it's easy to use and much cheaper to produce than pure oxygen.

I've seen GAS powered leaf blowers add ~10hp to a 140hp civic on a dyno. Try that same leaf blower on something making +200hp and I doubt you'd see any gains. They're a total scam.

As for injecting pure oxygen. Gottafly hit the nail on the head. Pure oxygen is way too volatile and would explode/detonate instead of having the controlled burn you want in a combustion chamber. N2O and Alcohols are your best bets for alternative injection fuel.

What is the purpose of adding some sort of propane injection or converting to propane? It's a much shorter chained hydrocarbon(C3H8) than those found in gasoline, so there are fewer carbon bonds to break, so you get less energy out of it. If you don't use it in conjuction with some sort of turbo or supercharger, the propane would just displace oxygen, reducing power again, right? It's cheaper than gasoline, but wouldn't you need to use a lot more of it to get the same performance? Is it better for the environment?
