    Newbie Hardtop Rear Wiper Question

When I removed the hardtop off my 1999 TJ, to replace it with my soft top.
I have the rubber washer hose that was disconnected, where do I put this thing, it just hangs there and leaks everywhere, I put something into it to plug the end but still leaking.

Is there a shutoff at the washer bottle, I cannot find one if there is?

I think they had plugs for the end. I would kink it and seal it with a clamp at the back

On the GF's TJ we've always just left it there.
    It's never leaked though.

It'll stop leaking after abit... It's just the left over fluid in the tube... Just dont try and use the back wiper...

I've never tried, but I don't think the rear washer switch works when the hard top plug is disconnected.

If it does, I'm thinking of plugging a nozzle into it and pointing it out the back for tailgaters.

Thanks Guys, I plugged it with...

A pawn from a chess set.

Working in Automotive as a parts supplier I cannot believe that they don't have a shutoff valve for this thing!

Time to put one in line!

    Thanks
    Guys
