    OF4WD Why or Why Not?

With the AGM coming up (Mar 30 @ the Burlington Ice Palace) I was wondering if you are already a member. If not then then i am curious as to why. I got this idea from another thread... maybe we can turn this into a membership drive, which is much needed in the wake of all the changes facing our sport.

I joined OF4WD when i became a member of the Pit Boyz. before that, to be honest I didnt know much about the organization. but now I have been around for a while i glad I am a member. They are the voice of our sport and do countless lobbying to keep our sport alive. Without our support the "Trail Pass" WILL come into effect. We need to increase the numbers to ensure our voice is heard.

Please let everyone know you feelings on the OF4WD... good or bad. the good will hopefully help to recruit new mwmbers and the bad will help them to make changes.

    Thanks for your time

The more members that we have, the stronger our "voice" will be. We can't afford a full time lobbyist because of lack of funds but the more members we get, the closer we get to that stage.

Been a member for 5 minutes.

It's 25 bucks for an individual membership (and maybe less if you're with a club) which is what, 1/4 tank of gas . Painless online application and payment.

The other advantage of membership in lobying is arranging for group discounts and rates for products. If we had 10,000 members in Ontario that would be a very loud voice to be heard. We have to lead by example though, if we want to be taken seriously.

I was a member when I was in Paulerz. I have not renewed because I did not have a Jeep for a while. It's definitely on my list of things to do.

As for the AGM, I will try to attend unless I'm working.

For the individuals (like me) ---> Don't forget to renew. I found the following link useful for the individual renewal process. http://www.of4wd.com/pdf/Individual_...structions.pdf

The rates go up $5 after the AGM, but feel free to pay the extra as a cash donation.

Am a proud member as well
have been for 4 or 5 years, go to the AGM's when i can.

Keep in mind this is an all volunteer organization, these people give their personal time for us, sacrifice their personal lives for us and do not look for any thanks, we try to thank them as often as we can to let them know that their work is not going unoticed.

over the years Northern Lights....Now OF4WD has taken many long roads to open doors for our voice with the Government....The MNR in particular, these relationships cannot be forged over night or with one meeting, these are processes that take time.

The OF4WD has only the best intentions for our sport as all of the BOD is a wheeler in way or another..

Many thanks to those who sit on the BOD.
