Jeep never made and LJ but they did make a TJ unlimited. LJ is a foreign tin box with a motor cycle motor.

I'm thinking he means the TJ Unlimited, which I think was 15 inches longer.

But if you don't take my word for it...

So I installed the flux capacitor but the Jeep just won't do 88 mph.

The unofficial name for the TJ Unlimited was the LJ. It's a Jeep thing. You wouldn't understand...

If i wanted a longer Jeep I would have bought a four door, you know a JK unlimited. Oh wait, I did! I like it so much that I cut my Seven in half and am making it longer than a TJ unlimited. Its still not a Suzuki LJ, they look like this....

Please in a forum full of Jeepers explain how someone may not understand.

"It's a jeep thing...." Has got to be the stupidest thing I have ever read.

Hehehe. I don't think DC ever called it the LJ, it's just a nicknamed adopted by Jeepers. "Long" Jeep? "Limo" Jeep"? Dunno..

Being that the TJ and Suzuki LJ are far from the same, I figured that Grimm was talking about the Unlimited.

C.C., that's the genius of that slogan! It can't be proven wrong, since if you try, it just means you "don't understand". Proving it wrong only proves it right. Tell someone your Jeep is slow, bouncy, cold in the winter, hot in the summer, hard on gas, cramped, and unreliable, and they'll ask you why the heck you drive it. I don't know why I drive one. There's a more practical vehicle in every single category, but yet I'd take a bullet (in the leg) for my Jeep! I think most of us are like this. ... well, the ones that understand...

    Happy trails!
