You're making it very hard to save up for a house so I have somewhere to put all these toys!

I hate to say this but i think the house is a little more important than buying a Winch from me.
    Good Luck.

duncan.. am I correct that the 10000lb goes for 395?? do you have any 8000lb's?

let me know, if not I'll just got with the 10000.

Also, do the 10000lb's also come with the snatch block, recovery strap, and cover for the winch?

    Thanks,

    Matthew

    I do not have a 8000lb model.
the 10.000lb is the smallest i have All winches have a cover supplied with them and yes the introductory price on the 10k is $395.00 . In a effort to reduce costs on this model i had to eliminate the wirelless control and you will notice in the specs it comes with a 5.5hp motor. The seals for the weatherproofing of the motor and gears etc was not compromised and it still has the machined steel brake cylinder and the overload coupling to prevent any damage to the motor and gears ( although their is little chance of doing any damage to the gears ) I will put together a "Package Deal" but the tree saver and extension Strap and pulley block will not be the same as the type advertised for the 12k and the combo price will be lower than buying the items seperately ( the combo package will likely cost $ 485.00)
If you have any other questions feel free to drop me a line and i will try and answer them,
    Cheers.

the amperage draw difference on the 10000 compared to the 12000 is quite considerable... the 12000 is the only way to go in my books

very happy with mine... pilled a minivan out of the ditch the other day and barely dimmed the headlights

The 12k does have a low amp draw for a given load . Here is a chart showing a Warn M8000 ( I have been showing the build components of this compared to the TITAN 10.000lb ) .

WARN amps TITAN 10k amps TITAN 12k amps
    0 80 0 75 0 85

    2000 200 2000 180 2000 130
    4000 285 4000 220 4000 220
    6000 350 6000 290 6000 231
    8000 435 8000 360 8000 302
    10.000 ----- 10.000 450 10.000 371
    12.000 ----- ------ ----- 12.000 450

As you can see from the numbers Randos comments are correct . However if you compare the TITAN 10k Amp draw and the WARN M8000 you will see that even though the peak amp draw on the warn is less than the Titans peak draw it is not a lower amp draw for the different load ratings as can be seen in the numbers above.

    It says in that ad:
    "New Price: $875 obo."

I wonder how much he was originally asking??? Then again, maybe he was ripped off and is completely clueless about how much he's selling it for..

So I installed the flux capacitor but the Jeep just won't do 88 mph.
