That version of sami with the fixed roof is sweet. I always wanted one like that. It looks like you did a whole lot of fender trimming to fit 35's Anyways, sounds like a cool project.

Is it true you can take stock tracker 3rd members (something like 5.13 gears) and put them into the older Sami axles? I can't remember where I read that but it sounds interesting. Not only would that be easy, but it could be fairly cheap too.

What kind of offset did those F150 rims get you? We're toying with the idea to fit 12.5's on Project Snail.

I really like the look of it how it stands. Big tires yet still somewhat low.

Nice rig for a starter project! Is it the 1.0 or the newer 1.3 litre?

If I was a Jeep, they'd have parted me out a LONG time ago.

Me like. I have alway had a place in my heart ever since I was 14yrs for those sami's. Nice to here the axles hold 35's as we are doing a Solid axle swap in a 98 Sidekick using a Sami axle and 33's. Your T-Case has high Gear Reduction right? Still double it (were doubling the Shitkicks) or re-gear the T-case and you 60hp won't bother you a bit!!!
