    Totally tubular!

    Hey guys,

Just thought I would share some pics of what I have been working on this past week. It's been awhile since I've had time to fab up something for my own rig!

    Thanks guys,

I have wanted to build a new rear bumper for a while now and have had that design in my head. It's cool to make it become reality. I still have some more tube to add, but it's getting there. Thanks again I appreciate it!

^ it was all how you presented your first question. It came across very offensively in my eyes too.

    Ill say this,
    a) the effort and craftsmanship put into design, machining and welds of such a beautiful bumper cannot be ignored. It is quite obviously a purpose built piece.

    b) there is a hell of a lot more quality and quantity of weld on that bumper than the average class 3 hitch.

and my own opinion, the design is so effective and efficient, it has the untrained eye thinking it's underbuilt! I'd say that's the ultimate compliment

If it came across as me pissing on his bumper, thats not how i wanted it to come across... I like the way it looks. I said that in the first post. I just wanted to know how it would hold up... And people blew it up.

    Thanks Canadian ZJ,

That is quite the compliment, and thanks for having my back!

    Pallister,

I feel bad for you bud because you are getting jumped on but dude come on why would you ever think it would fall apart. I think this may be a case of talking just to hear your self talk, but your typing instead.

I really don't need to explain myself to anyone here but I will, just for you Pallister. I have been fabricating and welding for 10 years now so I have a pretty good idear on what works and what doesn't. I have also been a working shop foreman, welding and fabricating for the past two years.

So I confidently tell you that I really don't think the bumper that I built is going to fall apart anytime soon. If you still think it may, the offer still stands. You can be the one to show me I'm wrong by hooking your JEEP up to mine and tugging it apart. My JEEP should be ready by May, 24 weekend.

Anyway thanks again guys, I appreciate the props!
