ya, the front end is getting narrow, notice in one of the pics above, you see the unibody cut inward at the coil mount, the hood line will follow that.

I dont have too many pics of the one link but here is how she flexes.

9 inches of stretch in front with 8" skyjacker coils, and 2 inch stretch in the rear with 4" xj front skyjacker coils.

Can you tell me how far apart your rear coils are and how stable is it?

the skyjacker coils are'nt bad, I had the 4" up front first with the short arms, the whole system did'nt flex worth a shit, but rode nice on the highway.

the 8" coils compress alot due to the extreme lenth, but they only work well if you use long arms (36" or longer) as for the extension they dont really extend all that much due to the high spring rate, so I did'nt capture them top and bottom, only bottom to let the suspension flex alot further and keep a wheel on the ground.

the boing factor on those are crazy stupid so to drive with those on the street, i'd double up on a good quality shock.

the rear coils were close together, maybee 10" from where the tube came out of the pot. that and shocks that were angled to the centre made for a smooth ride but it liked to lean on curved roads, it does however flex awesome.

When i put in the 14 bolt I will spread the coils out a bit further, I also plan on using an Antirock sway bar in the rear.

are'nt you the guy building a 1 link rear? if so you had some pretty good engineering going on there.
