New build in the JKM Shop

Well we finally got to my buddies Sidekick.
    Details as is:
    98 Sidkick 4dr Sports
    1.8l 16v Auto
Chop Topped after his sister rolled it.
he basically got it free off his dad, so he used it as a Winter Beater.

    What's to Come:
    33x12.5s
    Kicker 3 Doubled T-Case
SAS Front, as front IFS Diff is cooked.
    4Link Front, extended 3link rear
    4" Coil Lift, 3" Body.
    Locked Rear.
Trying to keep stock axle gearing (5.12s) so looking for an MR2 Supercharger to toss on.
LOTS of body work to smooth the doors and roof line to make it look like it was meant to be.
Pics of the Body Lift today:

    90 YJ. 4link F/R, 16" SAW Airshocks, 32bolt Beadlocks, D60/14bolt, Full Hydro/Hydroboost L67 3.8SC 700r4 NP231/D300
02 Yukon XL on 37's DD
91 Cherokee Juggy scrapped for Greener Grass
I prefer to build it and not buy it, you see it, I probably made it.

    Sick Kick!!!

39's on IFS? Stock diffs? got more details steve?

He'd running 33's as he wants it still as a decent winter beater, and he got the 33's farily cheaper from me. Although I love the Comp Cut looks on Kicks. This thing is getting full Tube fenders, rockers and probably an Exo.

Ya it was a fun toy haha cost me a case of beer for the tracker and 200$ for all 4 tires and rims and 400 for the winch so the grand total was like $650

    It had stock everything yes.
    3" body lift
i changes the 3 link a little in the back and put XJ stock from coils in it to give me liek 4-5" lift and make custom coils spacers to liek the front liek 3"

In total it had like a 6-7" lift with stock everything else first it was a 5 speed i blew the clutch up though trying to turn the tires so i went to an automatic. worked good but not a lot of balls to turn the tires right... then i tried to see if it woudl float in a lake up north. it was floating the it sunk that was the end of that toy haha it was horrible to drive though becuase it didnt even have power steering. you try and turn those damn tires with no power steering for 4 hours straing it isnt fun hahah

    Cheers!

oh ya one more thing everyone would tell me im retarded because ill blow up the axles on everytrip, well i found that impossible because the 1.9L or w.e they are is only pushing out 80HP so the thing would just stall or bog down i could never brake the thing there bomb proof haha

Good point about the under power thing.

As for coils, we're not sure what we are using yet. Have to get the axles and his summer car on the road before we really get working.

    Ya, Solid Axle Swap.

We were going to use Yota Axles, but the stock gearing does not go high enough.

Projected cost of this build is going to be sub 1g. Thats with the cost of the vehicle and safety and a parts sami for the T-Case and Axles.

The vehicle is already safetied as it stands with the chop but without the lift, and has been on the road since september.

Keep in mind a Sidekick is a Body on Frame, Not Unibody. So little to no Structure was loss with the chop.

Ontop of the we will be adding structure with the Exo/Cage.
