    YJ Back Bumper Build

Mom wanted a back bumper for her 95 YJ. Dad and I are almost done. I will be finishing the tire and hi lift jack carrier soon. Powder coat gunmetal grey is the plan for now.

I nominate you for best first post in a long time.

Welds look great, makes me want gas.

If she wheels it alot you may regret putting the hitch below the bumper over time.

I understand that deparcher angles are reduced from the hitch but it looks and is overkill. I made a bumper similar to this on my TJ, I have hit it a few times when decending rocks but never been hung up.

Nice job. Any chance you'll share the details of your build like a build list? I'd like to know what size wheel stub, bearings & tube you chose.
just my two cents...take it for what its worth...

95 YJ, RE 4" lift, 33" Procomp Extreme M/T's, Warn M8000 and mud - Trail Queen
    04 Liberty Sport, 2.5" Rusty's lift, ProComp LT245/75R16 AT's & a pair of Hella 700FF Lamps - Highway/Trail Ride & sometimes tow rig

The wheel stub ,bearings & tube were picked up from EMS offroad, www.emsoffroad.com. The rest of the bumper was bought from a metal surplus store and left overs from other builds. The bumper is going to be hooked up to an onboard compressor and used as an air pig, reseting beads, running air tools, etc
