    A preview for Roadkill 08

It's looking like RK 08 is a go, here's what i've been working on (brought the YJ back to earth a little).

    33's, no lift
    99" wheelbase
    d300 4:1, flipped, twinsticked
    tummy tuck/flat skid/boatsides/gas tank relocated
    cage
    corbeaus/5 points
    4.10 diffs locked fr/rr

just have to rebuild the floor and finish putting it all together

cage is 2 stock main hoops, outer bars above passengers heads (over doors) are 3/16 wall DOM (so i can fit TJ door surrounds, and for strength)...bracing is all 1.5" sched 40 (1.9" outer)

    little progress...

got the tj door surrounds and safari top onto the YJ.

also flat clocked the dana 300 and made flip shifters without the big spacer in the lid. all just mocked in of course

high hood and swing out tube fenders done (other than inners).

also finished the dual battery tray and painted the underside of the hood to try and keep it cooler under there lol.

swapped out the motor mounts as well.

that makes the front end pretty much done other than final torque and hookup.

lol, nothing is tightened yet. i usually leave that until the end and then torque everything in a final go round...that way i don't miss anything.
