heh glad to see that yall want to see my new rig.... now just so i dont disappoint currently the bark is worse than the bite... Not too sure what is wrong, either timing or carb I hope to have that fixed by next weekend if not weekend after that. Also steering on it is very stiff will have to fix that eventually too. But yea all is a go on my end currently... tow bar is welded on and chains are on it also got the lights so as long as she gets pulled straight down the road i dont see any issue with me making it out there tommorrow. Like I said I will be arriving there around 12:30-1:30ish. So hope to see y'all there... Also JB your bringing the large decal for me tommorrow correct? if so just remember this rig is black so i need light coloured text.

    Thanks!

Our decals are light coloured camo so it will look fine on your rig.

So I just got a GREAT deal on a brand new Edelbrock 650cfm Thunder Series AVS Offroad Carb from Performance Unlimited. Will be picking it up tommorrow and hopefully will get around to installing it this weekend. Next thing on the agenda is fix my brakes all the way around and make sure the timing is all good. Hopefully next weekend I will get around to all of that and will be out wheelin.

today i installed the new carb

After install she was still running rough so i took off airfilter and tuned the idle on the carb then tried again and noticed the engine puking up through the carb so I imediately stopped it and double checked the wires... I guess the last person to do the wires switched #5 and #7 plugs which was giving me the problems once I switched that it started to run pretty good. Although it does give out when i trump on the gas still but if i slowly trump on it it works pretty good. Still have to do the timing and fix the brakes.
Also noticed one of the engine mount bolts backed off the mount and almost came out so I put that back in and got a new nut for it. Just glad it didnt fully back out.

it cutting out like that when ya hit the throttle right away, i bet ya that you need to set the accerlator pump on it make sure the floats are set properly, along with the air/fuel mixtures screws on her, that will help it ALOT,
