Where to buy sheet metal/steel in toronto?

I'm looking for a place to buy 1/8" steel, preferably in the east end of Toronto. Does anyone know of a good place to go?

I've found the Metal Supermarket to be costlier than going to other steel suppliers - many of them don't have a minimum buy policy and also have an extensive collection of "cut offs" etc that they sell cheaper or even by-the-pound.

Bring the guy a coffee and shoot the sh!t. By about my third trip into the metal supermarket by me i was buddies with the guy and paying probably 2/3 if not less then what came up on their computer. And he'll make multiple cuts of whatever they have in stock for free.

The Markham store has either moved or shut down. I walked in last week and there was no metal, just a bunch of guys putting up drywall. They were pretty expensive anyway. Quoted me $55 on a sheet of 18 ga that Metals Plus Oshawa quoted $37 for.

Steel prices are hit and miss, calling around would be best. But of course, you'll get a better deal the more you buy...

Aurora Metalworks have a fairly good stock depending on what you want, and their prices are good.
