HELP!!! 3 rear ujoints in last 3 weeks

I need some info, I have an 89 yj, 35 inch mudders. I have been shearing off the u joint straps in less than 5 minutes once I go out. I found the issue with the straps (cheap, Napa, didn't fit well) Got the OEM version, now I went out and it spit the bearings out from under the straps. I noticed all other yokes have a little nub to keep the bearing from falling out, these are missing on mine, are they required?

    yes, most definately.

clean the area really good and see if it looks like they have been sheared off.
That part is easy enough to replace.

when you put in your u joints do you install the inner c clip on the cups? the inner clip'll hold it centered if the nubs are gone.

the inner clips wont work unless you find a ujoint with the groves to accept them post for a used yoke and buy a set of moroso ujoint girdles there the best.http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku This part is not for your exact application but just a example.

It was the driveshaft angle, the pinion is pointed way too high!! My buddy bought your jeep and he blew the yoke three times in a weekend lol. Have to reweld the perches on the axle.
