    Transmission recommendation

the tranny in my wife's 02 Sebring convertible is acting strange.
When slowing to a stop - 1st gives a double jerk. Also noticed what felt like 1st slipping when I was driving up a steep driveway.
Can anyone recommend a good shop in the newmarket-bradford area. Not sure if Mr Transmission would simply want to tell me it needs a big fix cuase they want $$$

    Never argue with an idiot.

I would have the dealer scan it...
    Has it been serviced lately?
the shop should have relearned the TCM when doing any late
    model services like that...

Chryslers have a boatload of computer control. Mr. T. sometimes offers free scans. I'd call ahead and ask if they do free scans still, as your trans "shifted oddly for a day, but seems okay now".

They'll likely do a free scan to try and get your business. Alternatively, the dealer can do the same thing, and they have access to TSB's (if you get a decent technician, that is).
