    85 4runner build

    hey guys, just wanted to show you what i have been building for the past little while.
    it's going to have:
    7" superlift suspension lift
    3" performance accessories body lift
    2.5" shackles front and rear
    39" tsl boggers
    built ford 302-(300 hundred horse power, 350ftlb of torque
    c6 automatic tranny
    danna 300 transfer case
    full msd ignition
    custom wiring front to back: the truck will
    run about thirty wires and be street legal
    on-board air for any repairs in the trail
    re-gaired with yukon 4.88 gears
    locked front and rear
    custom front and rear bumpers
    titan winch (12000 lb) front and rear
    custom built rock slider bars

    this is the vehicle completly torn down to nothing and putting in the 3" body lift with brand new body bushings

    new body bushings and body lift. still waiting for the lift kit to show up so i can rip out the old suspension

    when we stripped this truck down it only had rot in one little corner of the truck. the rust you see in the pics is mainly just surface rust. i was really surprised when i started sanding the body and all i kept finding was good metal beneath the rust bubbles. i am glad i won't be making new patch panels for this one

    Just a recommendation - move a couple body mounts up the 3", and ditch the pucks. Not all of them, just 2 on the cab and 2 on the bed. I've got the PA lift on my Runner, and under moderate force it can move up to a ½". It's perched up, with no lateral support. With the mounts moved higher, it will be much more secure.
