    Need Help Now!

I was working on my Grandfathers 2002ish Ford Windstar today and working on the o2 sensors. I accidentally grounded to the starter cable. Not a long arch, just tapped.

Now the Van starts with no problems but stalls immediately. If I give it gas once it start and hold it's idle at 1200rpm or so it runs fine, but as soon as I let off it drops to 500-600rpm, the charge indicator light comes and willstall in about 30-45sec.

I assume I blew the main fuse, but I can't find it anywhere!!! The battery cable goes from the alt and starter to the battery the from the battery to the main fuse box which is all mini fuses and relays.

    Help any one!!!

    Windsucker Wiring (aka Windstar Wiring)

I know there's two fuse links on the driver's side near the battery. They go to the alt. and probably blew. Should be under the battery in the main harness. Been a while since I played with Windsucker wiring.

Does it idle ruff when you push the throttle?

Idles fine with the throttle down, I can hold just at normal idle (900rpm or so) and wouldn't know that anything is wrong.

Thanks for those fuse locations. I look into those.

I did that once by accident, and blew the bridge rectifier in the alternator -- caused a similar issue. You may have blown that.
