I'd like to see pics of the Dmax/Allison swap when it gets underway. What year Duramax are you going to go with? My family's business is hauling RV's and we have 3 Duramax trucks ('01,'04,'06), and it's by far the most efficient/reliable combo we've had. By the way, nice looking rig.

Cool truck man, clean install on the lcd screens and stuff. Long wheel base trucks do better on the road in snow, and chicks dig the lwb First time I have ever seen the inside of a H1, holy plastic and whats with the heater/ac controls. lol those look like the same ones in my sisters sunfire.

Looks neat..if u keep it parked. And they say cell phones are distracting?
Gawd..I barely have a frickin radio, and I dont even turn it on.
Best thing about Hummers is, they're great for filling in deep holes in the trail, so the Jeeps can drive over them. See if you can get that lump down the trail into Lingham Lake. Johnsons hole would swallow it.

as for the reason to this is to keep COG low and clearence high... also to protect the internals from terrain and even bullets(for the armored HMMWV's)

You're not kidding. I don't know how my buddy fits in the driver seat. I climb into shotgun and struggle to close the door behind me but it would look weird driving around in the back seat while he sits up front all alone.
I wish my grass was Emo, then it would cut itself.
