For now I'm just gonna run a stock cover I will make one later.

Here is a pic with the heads on the headers are the ones I used in my last build back in 98 the 60 is actually the one from my last build too.
The shiny spots on the headers is where I repaired the holes we drilled for EGT's when we dyno'd a motor on my buddy's dyno.

Got off my ass and did some work on the heap got the motor mounts and transmission crossmember done.
I have started to shave my 14 bolt and hopefully will have the truss mounted and mocked up under the frame in the next few days. I was not planning on having to use a fuel cell but it is looking more and more like I will have to, kinda a bummer now I will have to be real creative on a sub enclosure. I could just remove the back seat and have lots of room, but people frown upon kids in a vehicle with no seat belts.
    Here is some pics.

lol, it's all about the layout and fit up Sarge, makes welding it up a breeze..

I dig the cross member Dale... makes me want to rethink mine.

I prefer a scribe for the detail stuff, a sharpie just isn't precise enough and soap stone is a little to easy to wipe off when you actually need it to stick!

true, for the detail stuff i also use a scribe and usually some DoAll blue spray, makes the scribe marks stand out nice. Soapstone is nice because it doesn't burn off when welding and burning.

    Sorry Dale, little off topic.

Carolines was a good meat market!

Remember nose diving the skittle of a bank at the bog/truck pull. Lucky you had a 60.
