    Now for the Issues...

Missing Rear Driver Side Body lift Spacer/Bolt

Also Missing Front Center Body Lift spacer(just under the grill) and spacers for the rad snubbers

Also Winch died on me once I got home and since I used it as a precaution to tie the front of it down on the uhaul trailer it wasnt very fun to get it off(tires were flat already to fit the uhaul tire nets around it....

Also It needs a water pump, ebrake, dash indicators(turn signals, high beam, etc), Speedo/Odo is broke, and Oil pressure gauge is broke, air intake box isnt in the bestest shape, and the rad/fan shroud wasnt lowered from the body lift, driver seat belt is messed...

But as you can see nothing too serious and should have a fun time getting this thing back upto spec.

So the build plans for this beast are....
    - Get all the maintenance work done including fixing the problems listed.
    - Paint it(Want to get rid of the purple and go with an olive drab)
    - Ford 8.8" Rear end and upgrade the gears to 4.88's
    - Hopefully get a detroit locker for the rear and a aussie for the front but most likely will go with whatever i find used.
    - Herculine the tub
    - Buy some rock rail sliders
    - Build or get a cage built for it.
    - Add High Idle to it.
    - Get 5pt harnesses once the cage is built.
    - Remove the rusted front fenders and get some flat ones.
    - setup a OBA system in it.
    - Snorkle
    - Replace Windshield Frame

I think that is all for now....
I want to keep the same lift/tire configuration for now since it will be my small rig.

If my memory serves me correctly... maybe already been fixed but the back bumper had issues at the mounts. at least it was like that the last time I saw it wheel. (we could not pull it backwards in fear of removing the bumper)

looks like a fun build buddy!!, check over that frame REALLY good at both ends especially.

personally i would cut the ends of the bumpers to on a 45* angle up and cap it back off to give it a little smoother look!

maybe look into an sye and xj front shaft for the rear too. and if it has the vacum disconect up front i would pull that apart and slide the ring over to have it always locked in, or buy some 93 and up zj or xj shafts with the 297 u joints, much stronger!!

cant think of much else at the moment so congrats on the buy man!!! looks good wel have to wheel sometime this summer!

Yeah, previous owner told me about that issue and said it was fixed by Jeepman's Offroad. I guess they added another mount and reinforced it.

I was thinkin about an SYE kit but im not too sure since it wont be seeing the road much and I dont plan on lifting it any higher but if I do find issues with the current setup definitely be something ill look into.

But I think I will end up buying the ZJ shafts.

Thank you both for the info!

Weird. The purple doesn't actually look that bad.

BTW, I just have to re-package the BL and I'll send it out to you. The original box doesn't fit in any of the bubble bags that the post office sells. Unless you specifically want the box, and I'll just wrap it in butcher paper?

So I swapped out the water pump today... Took a bit longer than I had planned due to the power steering pump mounting bracket.. It is hooked to the motor mounts and I had to use a bit of force to make it let go of the water pump.
The new one is installed but during the process I had to cut the rad return hose off so I couldnt finish it today since all the parts stores were closed about time I got everything back together.
Hope to finish her up tommorrow so I can check for leaks. Also noticed that I have a powersteering leak but it appears to be just at the hose connection so I am going to diagnose that maybe next weekend...
I was going to take some pictures but I figure you all know what a new water pump looks like etc so didnt bother...

I can tell you this... I am VERY pleased with how much room there is to work on this engine... the 4banger is great to work on especially once the fan/shroud is off you can almost fit inside the engine bay(well im sure some can just Im a bit bigger than most heh)
