Nice rig, if it ends up like some of your past builds it should be interesting to follow.

An off road shop should be more than a parts seller and installer with high prices. The scam was referring to the deal you got.

If you were to put a set of those silver ornamental slashes on the back windows from a hearse, you could be the Offroad Undertaker.

Sweet buy Sarge, I just hope I never see it bursting outta the bushes at me at night.

Damn I love those rigs, and I saw a pile of them down in Costa Rica. Sounds like a pretty solid plan, can't wait to see the progress pics.

Hey Chrisbuilt, to me Ryan represented himself in a professional and honest manner and i would buy from him again, im sorry that you may have had or heard of a bad dealing with him, but this aint the thread for bashing...this is truck building thread.

Thanks for the props guys, gives me even more incentive to get on it.

As much as i would love to fab or work with somebody to fab the hi steer Jak, truth is after machining high steer arms with trunnions it's just as cheap as it is to buy them (checked with DVSJEEP as he makes killer custom arms for stuff), add the 4 FJ80 TRE's and 2 lengths of threaded DOM i might as well just buy a kit.

I would much prefer to fab everything myself/take my design to a machine shop for things i do not have hardware to do, but truth is, if it's cheaper to buy it than build it...price wins (quality considered)

As fer bumpers n rock rails n such, well, heh yeah buddy all me(and Wolfman).

Canadian ZJ, ill ride my motorbike every day its not raining come good weather, and if im gunna have a DD for the winter n rainy days it might as well be fkn COOL! heh

    Amen!

    Perfect attitude.

Life's too short, far too many people payin' to drive boring, small econoboxes just so they can boast about 40MPG +. Big deal.

You can buy a HUGE V8 equipped SUV for thousands cheaper than in the past.

Let's say the SUV used to be $10,000. And it's now $3500 because the market for big V8 SUVs is shit. You're a LONG time spending the $6500 EXTRA in fuel on top of what you'd spend to run an econobox.

Can't wait to see this build Sarge.

Looks good buddy. Can't wait to see what your added touch will come out like. I hear ya on steering. Bought my kit shipped from the states to my front door. All i had to do was ream knuckles. Probably saved over $100 then if i woulda pieced it together myself. And a couple weeks back at the rubi you told me you're outta the 4x4 scene for a while. Pretty short while.

    Cheers
