ok just curious, you could use ford f150 radius arms on any axle, just weld on some wedges for the c bushings build some coil buckets, track bar, and frame cross member. All done with scrap steel and junkyard parts. Probably only take a weekend. just throwin that out there.

hmm thats a good idea for sure!!

this summer im keeping the ifs for sure just to see if i can take it everywhere i want it to go, no point in dropping money into it if it takes me where i want it to!!

Only reason i want to put leafs in the back is for simplicity and to get rid of the rediculous drop brackets on the lower control arm mounts.

dom ha i will buy you some pipe and some oem leaf bushings and get it done for under $150 coils included.
and dont start on the dom shite unless you want to do a 3 link or a setup like bens front end.
a 4 link with a hefty dom trac bar is easy on the control arms.
i dont like jj unless your building a high zoot machine.

under $150 eh, sounds tempting, i got a buddy who has 5 toyota pick ups, ranging from 82-85 all solid axles, so when i decide to swap the front out i will probably go pick one of them up they just sit in a field haha once even has 4" lift leafs in it!!

well see i wanna keep the whoel build under $1000 with tires on to pof that the 35's will be around a grand probably and the $600 winch. so a total of roughly $2500 in this build. then go and brake it!!! the best part

If you dont like the look of the snorkle maybe you should to a similar air intake mod as what was on that "Stinger" XJ how it was routed through the firewall and in the glove box I believe... Wish there was a write up on that some where cuz I want to do something similar with my rig.
