Yeah i know that the darn hood latch gets in the way... I was thinking ditching it for hood pins but im undecided. Yeah i wondered way the griffins were so cheap.. A shop in my area can get me a Ron Davis rad for about 600 with the intergrated tranny cooler and electric fan setup..

Yes the M37 get driven around alot. And our little willies M38A1 is my wheeling toy (gental dune running) while my jeeps in the garage. But if you into Mil vehicles my dad is organizing a run from east coast to west coast this summer for Lincolns Highway Bday.
    http://www.mvpa.org/ go to 09 convoy.

I would love to pick 2 of the 3 things that take up my time (girl/school/work)
But i can get rid of the girl for obvious reasons

    And she loves my offroading...
Im only 3 class away from getting a engineering design degree and a machinery tool and die design degree for CAD
And i work full time doing CAD and its paying for my jeep while i still live at home with the parents. (perks of being 21) lol

    New name

SO i could not find my user name password or the email it was under so I had to make a new one so that I could update this thread..

Here are some pictures of what the Jeep looks like now, i know the pictures arn't the best but I was obviously dark so maybe this weekend I will get some other better ones...

My buddy is 6'1" and he is taller than the Jeep, their still needs to be 4" added to the shock so it will stay the same height as it was on a 6" long arm and 35's....

Here are some videos from earlier this year when i first turned the key over... After a few hours of running it is idleing perfect now and sounds super mean..

I get confused once numbers get bigger than I can count on my appendages. I'm only good up to 21!
one quarter turn before something breaks is a good torque spec.

It is a little more aggressive than the LS6 cam, I will have to check when I get back home. I just don't remember the specs of the top of my head.

I have seen your video before on Pirate I think..! Sounds good

    228/228 .580/.580 112LSA +4 degrees

The cam is a custom one from a buddy at GM racing that they were not using and he was going to use it for his project but went with another set up from MAST?

Thanks, yes she is smokin.. Lol. And she can weld and helps with my build so by man laws, SHES A KEEPER!

For the heat sheild I have a proto bent up right now, just I haven't installed it yet. Then the lines will get a heat wrap as well.

I finished the exhaust so it makes it past the rear axle. Kinda tight tolerances for it but I think it will be ok. Unfortinitly my super cool glasspack might annoy me to much so I have ordered a nice Magnaflow that I will replace one weekend when I am not wheeling. Also got the brakes plumbed and started to bleed. But soon she will be wheeling.. !

Here is my poser shot! Its sitting at 80.75" right now with over 8" of shock shaft showing. Still need to tune the shocks and lower it for inches because I am running my shocks with 4"up and 10" down travel.

Need to finish it up for wheeling this weekend and next!

    Bump for awesome setup!
Your Iroc's look small in the pic.
How low are you going to go?
I think in your last video it was a little too low in my opinion.

In the video that was full bump, from here in this picture it will be 4" lower putting it under 77"s roughly.

I agree the tires look small and their 42s.

Well ladys and gents. I think it is time for a nice update... I went wheeling with some guys in Harlan Kentucky for my first "hard" trip. This is my 3rd trip of any valve so far this summer. Here are some pictures of the Rig.

http://www.dirtymindsjeepclub.com/harlan2010/index.html Large pic with everyone that went on the trail and some of Me.

    Then here are mine.

This is my only carnage, snapped a winch line when I was on the Can Opener trail. I was trying to pull myself to the side up the rock so I can unbolt the windshield then the line snapped and hit 2 guys. LUCKLY they both were fine but if it was a steel cable they would be dead..!

And here are some other pictures of the other runs I have been on this summer.

These are at Twisted Offroad Park in Copemish MI.. Just south of Traverse City.

---------- Post added at 09:18 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:05 AM ----------

So far the only issues I have had is the engine tuning is still a little off. But found a local guy that doesn't charge a arm and a leg for tuning and is pretty good.

Steering seems to still be getting warm but tried ever cooler in the book..! So now I might move the cooler inside the cab next to the fuel cell and add a small fan.

Then lastly, my atlas uses 2 adapters from the trans to the tcase. And the 2 adapters use a .375" stud in a .400" dia. hole and well my atlas is rotating along the input axis cause the STUDs came loose. SO I am in the process of droping the t-case to fix the stud issue and add 3 bores with solid pins in the 2 adapters so it will not shift if they come loose again.. Even debating on machining a new one.
