    dual zone AC control

The selector in my Aztek seems to have given the ghost. It no longer selects from floor to defrost to vents etc. The rear defrost has also quit working which is part of this module as well as the lights in the unit itself.

the stealership wants 402$ for a new one and wreckers are in the 100$ range.

I have opened the dash and looked under it attempting to diagnose the problem and it points to this thing.

I just want to be certain I'm not wasteing any cash. does anyone here know if these are a common issue. or is there anywhay that I can check the controller like have it do a self diagnosis.

    thanks in advance.
