Got my new seats, now just have to make some brackets to mount them to my risers.

nice install on the inverter, I would like to do something like that in the future.
not sure what you do with your rig, but I had an amp in the same place and fried it last summer in a water hole... didn't think of it till it was too late. something to keep in mind.

nice work all around tho, and where did you get those boxes for the switch/outlets?
    insert something witty here

^ I have yet to go into a hole that deep, and would rather not.
As for the boxes, my brother in law got them for me from his work,
They are computer diag port boxes that are on the machines.

I had to do some "minor" adjustments to the plastic at the bottom of the b pillar were the seatbelt housing is so it could slide back easy.

But now we are good to go.

    Will it bolt in ???

Looks awesome man, that axle looks right at home under there. I'd been thinkin a set of Rubi axles would be a great upgrade for my xj, this thread is very convincing.

Well, its been a while but I thought I should update this thread a little.

The 44 has been working perfect so far.

I have swapped out the front springs (4.5 with 2.0 spacers) for a set of Rusty's 8.5" spring, the long arm kit is sitting in the garage waiting to go in.

I have a set of 3.5" leafs in the rear with 2" blocks and 1" shackles, but found the other day during brake replacement that I snapped the bottom leaf in the right pack.
So I will be ordering a set of Rusty's 6.5" springs for it.

I will update again when I have pics of the install.

Well it was a long day but the Jeep is 95% done.
Rear leafs went in with out a problem,
the long arm set up needed some "tweeking" but went in great,
Now I just need a stock length front shaft.
I had to cut mine when the 44 went in the front with short arms, but know that the front diff is pushed out I now
need a stock length front shaft from a standard tranny XJ.

    Going into the shop.

This is the ugly before pic (it is hard to see but the bottom leaf is plit in half.

And this is the new 6.5" leaf set up.

Starting to pull the front apart.

    The point of no return!!

Well there is a little differance in length?

    First arm in!!

Thats all I got for pics (sorry but they are cell pics, forgot the camera at home)
I will take some pics once I get the front shaft sorted out and get it flexed.
