May his efforts to make our country a safe place for us all to live never be forgotten.

I was reading a few things he wrote on here and he supposed to return from Afghanistan around March/April. Its sad to know his tour was almost at its end.

Even without knowing Marc it's not hard to understand his dedication and pride from the threads on this forum regarding being a soldier. It speaks volumes of his character.

My condolences to his friends and family. Truly a great loss to this country.

To any other soldiers that read this, my greatest respect to you all as well. Oftentimes we neglect to show our appreciation until it's too late....

I'd seriously like to help with something special for him. Can anyone suggest/organize something?

I don't really know whats appropriate and what isn't for a situation like this. Can a bunch of us show up in Jeeps and join the precession? Can we park on top of the highway of heroes and salute him? I'm just thinking something symbolic to show his "normal guy" life would be nice. Even though many of us didn't know him, but he was still part of a much bigger family and we all thank him collectively.

    Thoughts?
