hmm i just revisited your youtube and saw some of the videos of it at the track... 12.56's with the 3.08s? i may have to reconsider my race proposition it looks like its launching pretty good for those gears too! how much are you running at the wheels?

ya those burnouts with my BBC camaro are with my slicks LOL.... they sticky on the street, and my mstaer cylinder was bad and wouldnt hold the car steady enough to get some good wheel speed...

and just a FYI car has 342's from what were thinkign since it onyl traps at 4700ish rpm and a posi but im going to some 373 first thing and have a stall thats suppose to stall 3500rpm behind a mild 350sbc... but it behind a done up motor or even a done up big block they stall ALOT higher

we figure by calculations it 1hp per cubic inch but has LOADS more of torque then hp for sure lol...few guys have drove and rode in it and say it a easy 500hp motor..never been on a dyno yet but i wanna get it on one to see some concrete numbers, and get some PROPER tuning and see what she like and doesnt like on the dyno while tuning

i have a pic of it getting the drivers tire just skippin along the pavement somewere here too...

T5's won't stand up to much torque, tire or weight. They are good if you shift easy and don't have sticky tires.

I'd stay with the ST-10 for now. I rebuilt mine in my vette for less than $200 and a couple of days.

yeah i was going to just put that in there for now but everyone ive talked to say they are complete crap unless you build them. theres no point building it to only use temporarily. ive decided to to back out of putting the big block i have in, so i think the route im going for now is put in a mild 400 that has 375 horse with just shy of 400 ft lbs. nothing too wild as its my DD once the weather gets nice so i can park my acura lol. plus ill be running slicks and it'll have to deal with hard launches. where did you get your rebuild kit? how much skill does it require to rebuild? i have never done a tranny before. i drive my car a fair bit at highway speeds since i live in the country but with the mild 350 i have in it now i can cruise all day at 140 without burning too too TOO much gas
