Well it took a couple weeks, with a snow storm and a long weekend, nut i have finally aquired just about everythign i need to get the axles installed. I have started on the front, dont know why thats just the end of the jeep where the grinder was. got the lower links mocked up and working on getting the stock spring and shock towers off.

Has anyone installed a fabtech kit with coilovers?? im just woundering if ther is an easy way to cut off and reuse the stock stuff, it will save me having to make new brackets. (i hate making brackets) I never washed the heep before i started so its hard to tell between the mud build up and welds when im trying to plasma off shit. ill see if i can get some pics today

well i got to spend a whle day on my truck finally. heres a spy shot of my state of the art lowers. light weight and enviromentially friendly!!

after grinding for what felt like forever!!! (dont buy PA cutting discs)

and finally it looks like progress!

roughly where the tire should sit

i just have to start plannig on how to get the uppers mounted to the frame. i wa going to go 3 link again but the axle is set up for 4 link, so im undecided there. And just woundering, is there such thing as too long of LCA's? i never realized just how long theses things were going to be till i put them together.

and this might seem obvious to some but i remembered from college the whole trick about welding multiple plates together if your making duplicates. finally somthing i took in skool working in the real world!!!

well see if we cant get the uppers made and mounted tonight!!!!

if you do a triangulated 4 link front i would love to see where you put the upper frame mounts, i've been struggling with it.
I wish my grass was Emo, then it would cut itself.

did some measuring and base on what i have kinda read the measurment should work.
    UCA 32.5"
    LCA 46.5
4-5" seperation at frame and 9-10" seperation on axle.
i havent put the #'s into a link calculator as i haven't really figure out how that all works yet. But i am making the upper mount with 4 holes so i will have adjustment. they will be roughly 1-2" in front of the first body mount.

sorry i re-read your post, its not fully triangulated only the uppers!!

the uppers are my issue. In order to get the length that i want for the uppers the exhaust gets in the way. Passenger side.
Are you bending your arms around the exhaust or do you have a solution that may help me?

sweet, thanks. i'd like to se your fix for this. My buddies solution is putting in a 6 liter with custom exhaust. that's hard to swallow since i've only got 25000km on the 4.0l.

PA hydro assist ive had a PSC tapped box on my truck for almost 4 years and never got around to actually hookin it up. im hopeing a waggy pitman arm will work. as for exhause you'll have to wait for a bit, way down on the list right now. my current problem is clearence with the pass upper, drive shaft and starter. when i get the charger back i will get some pics.

Subscribed. . I'm also interested to see how you squeeze it all in, especially the exhaust. This is why i went 3 link. Here's a triangulated 4 link, mind you it's drivers drop, with everything squished in with fairly long uppers.

My only concern with your much longer lowers than uppers could be the pinion angle through travel. Mind you a couple tack welds and some garage flexing will answer that for ya. Anyway, looking good.
