My Box4Rocks is awsome! The control of 7.12:1 is fantastic. I can't say enough good about it. No leaks, no shifting problems, nothing to complain about at all.

Good luck with the home made version, the spud shaft looks good as long as you get it heat treated.

How much? REALLY interested. Was going to make my own and weld my shaft as I don't have the ability to spline cut.

Let me know if you want to make another or at least a shaft.

Also what spline counts are is you shaft. Can't remeber if using a GM NP231 is different then a Jeep NP231.

I made one this year. I just turned down the original shaft and cut the splines. It hasn't been beaten on much yet, but has been working great.

Thanks for the replies, I could do a chevy one but i would need s chevy case or the bolt pattern, the shaft is not complete yet just got it back this friday so monday its going for heat treat and grinding (oh its 4340 chromo and the splines are rolled). Small end spline count is 23 for the stock 300, but can make different ones if need be. We can check and see if it fits under a tj and get back to you. This plate is just a proto so disregard the chopped hole on the bottom right.

Once it's all buttoned up you should make a few rings and shafts. Let me know how much. I'm in.

Bringing this back from the dead. I'm trying to make a shaft for a doubler. Now i know the 23 spline portion is a 30 degree pressure angle on the splines, but what about the 34 spline section that goes into the planetaries? is it a 45 degree pressure angle? Thanks for any help.
