    1995 Camaro wont start

So my buddy just picked up a old camaro from this dad, we had the thing running for a week and then it just died. we figured okay battery, new battery later wasnt it. i dont know if anyone knows camaros on this site but it is worth a shot. starter is new as well as the alternator. When you get into the car and put the key in the ignition nothing happens at all. so some help would be appreciated

can be 2 things motor to body ground can do this but more likely + power feed to electrical system there ar fuseable links near the starter that tend to break down and near them is a common place for the wires to break. this can be tested by jumping power from + side of batt to the large wire on the back of the alternator. if car powers up then look at all connections near the starter closely.

But be careful.. I don't think you can actually start it with the cables on the alternator terminal. I'm fairly certain there's a fusible link for about 80-100A, which will blow if you try to use the starter.

it was a combination of things. stripped bolts to the battery, loose wires, and the ignition. its up and running now
