    Thumbs up My New Magnet-79 Cj7 4.2-3 Speed

    The jeep has my old 33x13.5x15 superswamper tsl's on it,it has newer leafs on it but I don't know how much lift is on this thing,any guesstamate's?

    gota love the plate she is a bewt ie
    make sure you go over the frame with a toothbrush they crack all over the place and gunk can hide it well

    Thanks,she is a retired race/swamp runner,had a 350 in it back in the day,98000 kms on the body,less on the original motor that was put back in,owner before me had it since 81.He used it and abused it ,but thats by the looks of it,but thats what makes them fun.He(previous owner) ended up buying my 05 Rubicon and I got this on trade,I will be able to sleep better at night if I scratch or ding this jeep over my Rubicon that I had.

    What size shackles can I throw on here before I run into rear driveshaft problems or other problems,would 1.5 or 2" shackles be 2 much more to add?

    good shackles are a must on any cj.
    even better is welding in a yj spring conversion it upgrades the hardware to 1/2 and lets you use bigger yj springs.

    not many cjs have a slip type yoke so you can go a good 3 in and up to 5 in with a tcase drop.

    I have a 1" HD shackle, and 4" spring lift, and have had no driveline probs.
