    its only the first window... i will finish the rest next week.... have to buy more sewing machine needles. I don't think it turned out to bad though

    thanks it took me around 2hrs to make that net... learning curve... and i went through 5 needles... but i think i am getting the hang of it now

    good work! make sure you're using #16 needles and heavy-ass thread, get that tension right on the machine and fly!

    I've made 3 sets of windows and 2 tops and only changed needles twice, and not because they broke, because they got dull.

    I think I have made 3 sets now and I haven't broken one needle and I use #14 ..... amateurs

    Blue.... How did you attach it to the roll bar? I don't see the straps wrapped around?

    my wife can sew, but im the only one who can thread her machine... so go figure...

    go for it man, it's easy, just time consuming.

    i've noticed the first set i made that are on my Jeep are starting to flap more & more, almost like they're stretching. I think that if your straps aren't 100% exactly the same measurements apart, they're gonna flap and subsequently stretch .. so if anything, make sure those square gaps are as close as freakn possible to being all exactly the same!

    im new to this whole sewing thing... no real teacher just figuring it out as i go.... as for the straps i just sewed in a webbing buckle and wrapped extra webbing around the roll bar.... just like a bikini top or safari top. Didnt have any rings for the corners so i improvised

    Needles? sewing? hmm not my thing so I went with gromets, needed an excuse to hit crap with a hammer lol
