    New motor and trans

    Okay so I'm thinking about going to the 2.5L and the 5 speed.

    I'm wondering if it would be better to keep the 4.0L and do the AX15 to pull out my auto trans and get manual.

    Anyone with ideas or who knows whether or not its worth it to go to the 2.5 let me know.

    Also i was wondering about... i think its called the NP3550
    98 Cherokee Sport, 5 inch lift with BFG Mud-Terrain KM2's, Thrush muffler with full custom exhaust, custom bumper.

    04 Mustang Cobra, Pully Tune, bbk long tube, Eibach Pro-plus kit, Corsa DB red series mufflers, 315/35/R17 MT ET Streets w/ Cobra 10.5" width rims.

    keep the 4.0 and get a nv3550 manual trans.

    you will never forgive yourself for tossing away 110hp.

    taller gears if you dont already have some will help power and fuel milage just as long as they are matched to your tire size

    I was told that i might need to do some mods to the shifter linkage to make the NV3550 work

    yep not a big deal if you find a donor truck as you will need the clutch peddle,master,slave,flywheel,clutch,cps,and a few more im missing.
    not a hard swap at all if you have all the parts.
