    project mudcakes

    My 1991 YJ Build up

i started out back in january 2009

pulled it out of a cornfield in new hamburg frozen in too the ground no top and full of snow

started out basically anything you touched you replaced. I had to let it dethaw in my cousins shop for 2 days so i could replace the spark plugs and change the oil. After doing that and adding a new battery full of juice and i ended up taking a victory lap around the building with no doors or top in the snow.

i then began to remove the seats and bedliner the floor

i didn't know about JK yet so i was buying everything brand new dropping money in it dieing to go wheelin

bought a 1987 jeep wagoneer for parts that had a set of 33s light bars 4.0 ho es5000 shocks took what i wanted and scraped it for 100 because i didnt know about JK yet

replaced all the brake lines with stainless steel lines

had alot of fun with the sandblaster

fixed up the exterior with a grinder prepping for bondo

added diamond plate sheets to the rockers 1/8 inch thick

found a top up in barrie for free and threw it on top

more pics to come i have alot from the buildup
