    XJ rock rails

    here is what i have been working on for a buddy over the past little while

    made from 1 1/2 .120 wall DOM tubing

    mounts to the frame with 1/2" grade 8 hardware

    here are some pics

    Did you happen to sleeve the bolts going through the frame or did you just drill holes straight through and then put the bolts through?

    I have been looking at things like this and get worried about the unibody rails getting bent if the rail is hit very hard.

    thoughts?

    i did not sleve them

    i made the buckets from 1/4 plate so there is two peices on either side of the frame and then one connecting them underneath where it is supported
