mini project - Ultimate xj soundbar

so i got my old sound bar out of waggy and thought i would add some more to it to make it the "Ultimate xj soundbar "
i already had some alpine speakers in it ,but utility is the name of the game , i decided to get rid of the stock light and put in a set from a mini van that clicks on and off , and is directional L/R . i also had previously put a 12v socket into it so when i open the hatch i have one accessible. so today i thought i would up it a bit and add a 120 socket that i will attach to a inverter down the road .
any other ideas of things that would be useful on the sound bar .. i might throw some toggle switches in it for future lights in the hatch .
    so whats your ideas ...

    Disco ball?

    Just puttin' it out there.

Hmm... I'd be a little concerned about support. How strong are the mounts? Pulling on a stubborn plug, would it be asking for trouble? (I haven't a clue as to the way it mounts.) As for extra utility, I'm wondering what you use the cargo area for most often. Camping? Maybe a switch for small air compressor that mounts in the rear fender with an outlet in the cargo area trim panel. Hauling parts/workbench? Maybe a pair of swiveling spot lights like they used in GMC overhead panels.

All in all, cool beans. Very sweet idea.

If I was a Jeep, they'd have parted me out a LONG time ago.

    thanks JPhoenix
it mounts at the side only ,but you can always find ways of supporting it if need be , it has to support speakers and they weigh a bit as it is . I have OBA so no need for a compressor , and cause of the sound bar i dont need the speakers in the hatch so round flood lights will go in there , ill have a toggle for that . my truck got used for everything , work play and sleep on occasion ..lol more ideas welcome ...

actually for mounting there are (or should be) 2 pins the are attached to the roof and come down through the light plastic. those clips have pressure washers on them which also hold the bar up tight to the roof.
now, if your removed those clips to install that new light... ya it can and will get floppy if you add more weight to it... it gets annoying looking in the rear view and seeing a bouncy speaker bar... let me tell ya.
    insert something witty here
