    Wheel weight question?

    so ive decided to paint my rims, but i cant get the damn wheel weights off?

    how do i do this, screw driver and hammer? or is there an easier way?

    the lead ones that go around the rim as well as the stick on ones

    stick on ones should just be hit with something that wont damage the wheel, wooden mallet from the side, or just a cut off broom stick to use like a chisel. the rim ones, there is a special tool that most shops have, you can pry them off with a screw driver tho, that method can lead to rim damage

    Any tire shop will have the pliers to remove them. Just roll up to the door and ask the guy to pull them off for you.
