i remember in some mag they did that with a Jeep JK.

They also had sponsors and unlimited amount of money.

If you have the at least the latter - anything is possible.

I think it'd be easier to cannibalize the Ram and use your existing Jeep frame.

Just so you know, if it is a 2500 (D60's aren't in 1500's), it never came with a 318 in a 94 and up Dodge. It can only be a 360.

    So it's SFA?

    LC.
So I installed the flux capacitor but the Jeep just won't do 88 mph.

Ya Peterson's did it to a 1-ton Cummins Dodge with a 4door JK. Looked Sick and HUGE, but was ALOT of work. Floor, Firewall and of course bodymounts had to be custom.

I vote to make a GLADIATOR out of it. Kinda like a mega brute. Use the Jeep body as a cab and put a box behind it. That way you have a 4 seater with cargo space.

yea, that's the one, Peterson's. That thing was a really sick. Something about the sheer monstrosity of it, the army diesel cans, the OD and PSC fluorescent orange beadlocks caused my eyes to nearly tear......

I'm trying the same thing. I found a 91 blazer and am putting it under a 76 CJ7. It's going to be a LOT of work!!! Imagine the outcome tho!!
There are many things to consider. Cutting the frame can't be that difficult.
I tossed around the idea of making a scrambler or a brute too. Just didn't seem right to bastardize a good tub by stretching it. Keep in mind the top wont fit either if your tub is stretched.
Check out my post "CJ7 Recessitation"

    Good luck, don't rush!
