    Unhappy Newbie first attempt

Arite I finally got around to taking pictures of my TJ and I thought I'd post some of the projects I have in mind for it in the next months. Not sure it's even worth posting under "Build-Up" though.. anyways here goes

What I bought: 98 TJ Sport, 169,000km 2" body lift, 33x9.50 AT's (weather-cracked) on stock 15" rims, corner & side diamond plates, 6" front fender flares, pioneer AVIC-N3 dvd-cd-mp3-gps system with upgraded speakers. Half-doors, soft top, hard top and full doors (full doors are patriot blue with tan panels and both tops have seen much better days), double-tube bumpers.

    - Replacement of suspension parts (swaybar links, shocks, springs, control arms) Parts acquired and installed
    - Replacement of universal joints
    - Fix differentials leaks
    - Fix power steering box leak (probably has to be replaced)
    - New brakes front brakes replaced
    - Tune-up
    - Replacement of carpet Done
    - Fix body rust Mostly done
    - Re-wiring of fog lights (current wiring is a joke) Done
    - Get a matching spare tire and rim Rim purchase pending, in the mean time I got a tire cover
    - Want to do something about the frame and underside rust, but don't know my options yet
    - Rhino-line tub
    - Gas hatch cover Acquired and installed
    - New center console
    - Paint door panels, console, and dash to match the body paint job
    - Unseize t-case shifter
    - Replace broken right marker
    - Get some nice seat covers
    - Tail light guards Acquired & installed
    - 2" Suspension lift
    - New skid plates
    - Put missing soft top rear holder thingies Acquired and installed

I'm sure a lot more will come up while fixing this and that, but I have to start somewhere lol

    heres a friendly suggestion....

i used to have those same bumpers on my yj quite a few years back and i found them to be pretty light duty. if you plan on keeping them , you might want to re-inforce them. i almost ripped my front bumper clean off one winter while i was pulling my sled trailer out of the snow.

that jeep is a good start! once you make some changes, its fun to look back at the first photos to see the difference.

I'd go to the "Jeep parts for sale" section on this site, good luck!

    ERNYOV,
your original post said you replaced the front brakes, I would
suggest checking and adjusting the rear brakes so your parking brake
is more affective... evudence is in the parking brake handle at the top of its
movement... ( Ill be willing to bet its not very effective right now... )
