    93' Eagle Talon TSi

Attached are some links to threads I have started in attempts to get my turbo swapped Laser on the road.

I bought an ECU, which I thought was the big problem, now my car will start(and struggles most times.), but won't keep idle, I have messed around with the BISS, and wires 6 and 14. Nothing.

I think its something to do with the throttle body. Out of the car, opperating the TB by hand, the motor almost reacts opposite to what I do. When I close the throttle, it wants to run, and when I open it, it wants to die.

Oh, and we put new gas in it.

Can anyone tell me whats up?

    It runs on all four.

The fuel pump has been ruled out, since we have had it running for about 45 seconds, manually working the throttle.

Would the knock sensor keep it from idleing/staring correctly? Because mine is not plugged in.

This is not my daily driver, but if I can get it running, it will fund my TJ.
    Thank you.

Its kind of hard to diagnos a problem without seeing whats going on under your hood.
the knock sensor doesnt do anything to the way it runs.
do you have the correct maf? all your ic piping connected tight?

    Ahha!

I had an Aeromotive AFPR on there, tuned to the incorrect fuel pressure. Still, it won't idle right, however it ran goofy for about 2 minutes.

    They call this progress.

On the dash, I have a light, looks like a filter. I'm guessing thats why a lot of you guys said MAF.

I'll unplug it, and try it next time I'm around the car.

    Thank you to all.

The car wont run right with the maf unplugged. do you have any leakes between your maf and turbo intake?
any small leak in the intake tract will cause the car to run like ass.
